About Soldersector
Soldersector is a trade-only mail-in lab for micro-soldering, board-level repair and data recovery, based in the UK and serving repair shops, resellers, IT support companies and refurbishers across the country. If it needs a microscope, a schematic and steady hands, it belongs on our bench.
Trade-only, on purpose
We do not take walk-ins and we never go behind a shop's back to its customer. When a shop sends a job, the customer relationship, the quote and the invoice stay with the shop — we just do the board work and hand back a fixed, tested job with photos of everything we touched.
How we work
- One ticket per job, with live updates as it moves
- Photos on arrival and after repair — evidence for you and your customer
- Fixed prices from the price list, nothing charged until the job is complete
- Pre-paid tracked post both ways, with QR drop-off at the Post Office
- VAT invoices from day one
The bench
The work happens under a microscope, with schematics, preheaters and the hot-air stations that most shops don't keep in-house.

About questions
Do you take jobs from the public?
No. Soldersector is trade-only: our customers are repair shops, resellers, IT support companies and refurbishers. If you are not trade, ask your repair shop to send the job to us.
Do you work with shops outside the UK?
Not at the moment. The service is UK-wide only — England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland — with tracked post both ways.
How do trade accounts work?
Open a free trade account, order services at their fixed prices, and send jobs in with the pre-paid tracked label. Every job gets its own ticket with live updates, photo evidence and a VAT invoice.
